The Challenge
An automobile parts manufacturer was spending heavily on fossil fuel to heat water for degreasing and processing operations a direct drag on operating margins.
Our Solution
We engineered a custom solar thermal system that pre-heats process water to 90°C and feeds it directly into the client’s boiler, dramatically cutting the fuel needed to reach operating temperature.
The Impact
Fossil fuel consumption and costs fell significantly, while the shift to solar thermal improved the plant’s ESG credentials and sustainability reporting.
